Think Tank 019

Climate activism – a local, national and international perspective.

What tools and resources do we have to fight against climate change and decrease in biodiversity, two major challenges of our time?

What can we do right here, right now?

This edition of Think Tank will highlight and discuss some of the initiatives and good examples developed in Malmö as well as in Sweden and abroad.

How can new partnerships and new forms of collaboration contribute to achieving goals? How can we increase awareness of the urgent need for action, create new guidelines and share new solutions and knowledge?

We have invited a broad panel and will discuss Local Roadmap for Climate Neutral Construction and Civil Engineering Sector in Malmö 2030, LFM30 initiative, Swedish Architects Declare Climate & Biodiversity Emergency petition, as well as the British development project “The Remarkable City”. We will present examples of not building at all – by means of recycling, up-cycling and transformation – along with providing insight into development of existing urban environments in a positive direction.

This Think Tank is a part of #architectsdeclare_sweden
