Realistic or artistic?
Sometimes we prefer our CGIs to be as close to the intended result as possible while in other cases, we like our visualisations to be more artistic, highlighting an idea or a feeling.

Architectural visualisations are very important for our work. Not only as a final product but also as an integral part of our design process. CGIs bring ideas to life in early stages and broaden discussions about architecture.

Fredriksdal .02
The façades are articulated in two hues of earthy shades. Alternating textures and materials have been chosen to capture and reflect the daylight in an imaginative way. Vertical folds along the façade lend Fredriksdal a seamless and sculptural effect.

Fredriksdal, four hourglass-shaped residential buildings with façades that capture the shifting daylight, green courtyards connected to the quay, and ground floor amenities offering community and social interaction infusing new life to the neighbourhood.

What could a bench made of reused material from an old shipbuilding industry look like?
It might for example look like this bench we built for Varvsstaden a year ago, represented here by an illustration.
It is made of recycled bricks and blue sheet metal from the former Kockum’s shipyard in Malmö.

The interior layout of our competition proposal for the Museum of Forest Finn Culture is a reinterpretation of the scale of the Forest Finn settlement, its buildings and varying interstices.
Visitors move freely between programmatic volumes in a forest of wooden pillars, experiencing the exhibition through a horizontal movement.

Gustav III Square .02

Currently used by bus traffic, the square will be transformed into a rich mix of housing, offices, hotels, restaurants, and other public amenities. The project is a collaboration with DIÖS, Östersund Municipality and Krook & Tjäder.

KS is developing the Gustav III Square in central Östersund. The proposed development plan seeks to transform the square into an attractive, vibrant, safe environment by creating new public paths and places as well as making it accessible.

We are currently developing two residential blocks in Stadshagen on western Kungsholmen in Stockholm.
The unit mix comprises mostly one- and two-room mini-studios with efficient floor plans and well-designed interiors.

Meridian Water .01

Recently we have been increasingly engaged in this place – Meridian Water regeneration programme in the London Borough of Enfield.
It is a truly magical site full of valuable industrial heritage, large blue drumsheds with high levels of meanwhile potential, along the Lee River Navigation towpath which is a part of the Lea Valley Regional Park.

The main objective outlined by the brief was to design a hybrid development with a rich and diverse content, creating a new node to enhance local city life.
By designing flexible common areas, various functions can cooperate and complement each other.

This axonometric section shows our proposal for the transformation of the Gustav III’s Square in Östersund.
Currently used by bus traffic, the square will become an attractive urban hub with rich content and new places for social interaction.
