The buildings are constructed using cross-laminated structural timber elements.
?The details and window hatches are articulated in wood, adding warmth to the facades, making the project feel welcoming when seen from the street.

Wood was selected as the main material for Sala Backe, a residential scheme in central Uppsala. Both for the interior as well as for the exterior.

The scale model shows our winning proposal for Ribosomen, a residential block in Hagastaden in Stockholm. The project is an ongoing collaboration with the developer Humlegården.

?The bridge will be built in Varvsstaden in central Malmö and become a new meeting place at the waterfront, creating a new path between the city’s older districts and the Västra hamnen district.

?We are going to build a bridge! Our winning proposal for Styrmansbron in Malmö was made in collaboration with the London-based engineer Ian Firth and Sweco Civil.

This drawing shows a vibrant urban development project in southern Stockholm.
?The residential block shown is open towards the water in the upper left-hand corner and comprises a sport centre directly adjacent to greenery and pedestrian routes.

We love this kind of axonometric projection of a project. Such drawings give an overview and make everyone aware of how a proposal works within its context. How everything is interconnected.

KS Shop in Malmö represents our way of inviting public to a meeting place and a gallery organizing talks and exhibitions about architecture and community, curated by KS as well as externally.

This residential building, one of the four we designed within the same block, can be found in northern Helsingborg.
The balconies offer stunning views towards Helsingør and the rapeseed fields surrounding the city.

Nature has always been a vital part of the Forest Finn culture, and therefore is an important feature of the place and essential to the design. With overhanging eaves and the glazed facades, the boundary between indoors and outdoors gets blurred, making the surrounding nature present everywhere you are.

The museum’s interior layout is a reinterpretation of the scale of the Forest Finn settlement, its buildings and varying interstices.
?The proposed form is a low, long building with enclosed volumes scattered across the open space, allowing visitors to move freely through the exhibition space.

?The Museum of Forest Finn Culture.
?The Norwegian village of Svullrya has been inhabited by the Forest Finns since the late 16th century. In order to promote their distinctive cultural history, an open architectural competition calling for a museum to act as a representative and collective cultural institution. The layout of our proposal creates an open, flexible platform within the beautiful landscape.

A part of the experience of being in a forest is the dappled light from above, filtered by branches and leaves.
?We wanted to recreate this effect in the wooden pavilion made for the Venice Biennale in 2016.

The Stadshagen area on western Kungsholmen in Stockholm is being transformed into a dense and integrated neighbourhood with mixed programmes, vivid parks and urban life. Together with Byggnadsfirman Erik Wallin, we have designed two residential blocks within the first development phase. The two volumes are placed organically, following the topography adjacent to the Karlberg canal, forming a strong connection between Stadshagsvägen and the waterfront. ?Here, urbanity meets nature.

Little Haldens .02
The Little Haldens Square is the proposed focal point of the new development and will serve as a gateway to the Little Haldens Park, shown in this drawing.
?The park will act as a public ecological resource, offering meeting spaces and highlighting nature and the qualities of the valley.

Little Haldens .01
?We are currently working on the development of Little Haldens in Buckinghamshire (UK) together with Human Nature and Aviva.
?Little Haldens will provide up to 1000 new homes in a mixed-use community with a village square, family park and a beautifully regenerated valley, aiming to become “the greenest and most elegant new place in England”.
