Our proposal for the Skellefteå cultural centre!
The layout arranges larger and smaller spaces into groups, creating diverse spaces for visitors to seek seclusion or group gatherings.
The interior is dominated by a spiral transition zone connecting all the floors from the entrance level to the main balcony and the hotel restaurant, creating a flow and freedom of movement through the entire cultural centre.

Our proposal for the cultural centre in Skellefteå!
Timber was chosen as the main material for structural elements, façade cladding and interior surfaces, optimizing the construction from a sustainable life cycle perspective.
Timber can be produced by the local industry in Skellefteå, cutting the transportation costs and thus making the project more efficient in every sense.
